Meet Ralph Colantuono, owner and Executive Chef at Granita Grille Restaurant
who has has been serving the locals of Westwood, NJ, for over 26 years.
Ralph, born in Naples, Italy and raised in Brooklyn NY later took his
culinary career from Manhattan NYC to the beautiful downtown district of Westwood, New Jersey.
In 1998, Ralph and his wife Julie established their family-owned business
that specializes in making authentic Italian dishes in Westwood, NJ. Ralph has used generations of family recipes and techniques to create the homemade Italian meals that so many loyal customers keep
coming back for.
Guests are invited to relax and unwind in our newly refreshed dining room as
well as our expanded outdoor, heated and tent covered dining area.
Making our community happy has been our main priority since 1998, so we make
it our goal to cater to everyone's needs. We offer hearty Italian dishes and use only the freshest ingredients here at Granita Grille; gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options are
also available upon request. We are a BYOB restaurant with a very friendly atmosphere. Every weekend, we provide live music our guests can listen to while enjoying their delicious
meals.

At Granita Grille, we are also focused on making our dining experience inclusive for all guests, which is why we are proud to offer quality gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan meals upon request.
Another thing that really sets us apart is that we are a complete BYOB establishment, which means you are free to bring in your favorite bottle of wine with no corking fee. It’s the perfect option for a big family dinner or date night. And speaking of date night: Every Friday and Saturday night, we host live music—and yes, our house musician does take requests!

One reason why our guests keep on coming back even 20 years later is our famous secret dipping sauce—just ask for the orange one in the big bowl! While we can’t tell you exactly what’s in it, we can say that it’s chock full of olive oil goodness. And, due to popular demand, it is now for sale at the restaurant.
